Terms of Service

• These are the Terms and Conditions for Magnetic Bakery. .

Payment Due

• Payment is required upfront so that I can source your ingredients, book my time and prepare the perfect packaging. Your payment will reserve your pick-up date too!

• All sales are final.

No show = No cookies

• Your cookies are best enjoyed fresh. Not showing up to the agreed-upon pick-up time forfeits your order. But take heart, they will be donated to a family in need. 

• Need to reschedule your pick-up? No problem! Please reach out 3 days prior to your pickup time.

Refunds

• I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after the payment has been accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds. 

Delivery Clause

• All orders are pick-up only and I can be pretty accommodating regarding pick-up times - so ask!

Pick-up Dates and Times

• Pick-up times are set when I confirm your order. This is because other customers need to pick up also. We have bulk pick-up dates to accommodate most schedules – so put that cookie pick-up in your calendar!

• Once the product leaves the premises, Magnetic Bakery is not responsible for any damage occurring thereafter. 

Change Cutoff

• Decisions are tough! But we’re here to help. Order changes can be made until order cut off for that week. After that, all change requests will be under consideration, and a small fee will apply.

Price Adjustments

• All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. I’m always trying to provide the best-tasting cookies to my clients. This also means that I can’t honor old pricing. 

Photography

• Pictures are not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you may end up with. Also, cookies in photos may not be true to size! 

Questions

• Questions for me? Please give me about 24 hours to reply – I’m usually covered in dough!

Allergens

·       Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, or shellfish.

·       While I take precautions to avoid cross-contact, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.

Cottage Food Laws

• All items are produced for direct-to-consumer, non-resale, in accordance with the Illinois Cottage Food Act

• All items are produced in a home kitchen not inspected by a health department that may also process common food allergens.

In Sickness and in Health

• You’re consuming food and with the consumption of anything there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities – albeit hopefully far-reaching. Please be cognizant of allergies and those allergic, and of food safety practices (no leaving things out on the counter).

Weather Clause

• If pickup is impossible due to inclement weather, your order will be heat-sealed for a later pickup date. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered due to weather but we will make sure your order is kept as fresh as possible!

Refunds

• Unhappy - reach out! I’m here to make each bite the sweetest, and if I missed that mark, I’d like the opportunity to make it right for you.

Bulk Order?

• Due to the custom work required for each cookie, we are unable to extend discounts regardless of quantity. If you have a specific budget you are working with, feel free to let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to offer you a solution that fits your budget

Agreement to Terms

• Once you’ve submitted payment for your order, you’re accepting the above terms.
